How to complete a Full flow® fitting joint
Step 1: Use the pipe shear to cut the pipe to length
f f Do not use an open flame to heat the pipe end
f f Only heat the pipe to the length of the barbed section of
the fitting
f f The use of a hacksaw on LDPE pipe is not recommended
Step 4: Insert the fitting into the softened pipe end
Step 2: Soften the pipe end in boiling water
f f Ensure that the fitting is inserted fully into the pipe, up to the
shoulder on the fitting
Step 5: Position the clamps in the centre of the barbs and
tighten to complete the joint
f f Do not use an open flame to heat the pipe end
f f Only heat the pipe to the length of the barbed section of
the fitting
Step 3: Insert the pipe into the fitting to complete the joint
f f Ensure that the pipe is fully inserted up to the internal stops in
the fitting
