Hi there, my name is Mbeinta Lambert Chia, I am a son of the Kom soil precisely from Baingo village. I belong to a family of four (two boys and two girls) with me being the Benjamin. I attended most of my primary education in ABPS Douala before joining SABECO in 1997 where I spent seven years and graduated with an A Level certificate in 2004. Like many others who attended this prestigious school, I owe a crucial stage of my upbringing to this great institution. I remain forever grateful to my grand dad Pa Andreas Chiafuke for ensuring I got admitted, to my teachers for their devotion in their work, to my friends at school for all we shared, to my dad, mum, brother and sisters for their continuous love and support and most importantly to God Almighty who saw me through. Honestly back then, I couldn’t clearly say what I liked about the school when compared to other schools that had some degree of liberty, just like many of you presently studying in SABECO. Sometimes you feel the school is not as nice as people see it, I remember telling friends in form one and form two that I wasn’t going to return, but I was there for seven years. You only SEE it clearly when you are chanced to attend a school that is different or when you leave school and move to the next stage in life. It is clear now that to have attended one of the best schools in the country in every aspect (sports, academics, Eucharistic celebrations, study environment, food quality and discipline), succeeding from one class to another in this school and having friends with whom I shared my entire day for several years were what made the school special for me.
