SA Funding
E
ach semester The Student
Association (SA) collects money
from students called the Activity
Fee. This money makes it possible to
provide services, run events, contests,
and advocate on behalf of students. Each
year a portion of the fees are used for
activities to enhance the extracurricular
learning opportunities that support and
promote student quality of life. Student
groups, faculty, or college staff submit
funding proposals for these activities.
The requests are reviewed by the SA
operations team and determine the
benefit for students. The SA Board of
Directors has set the end goals as follows:
The purpose of the SA funding is so that:
Student (quality of) life is improved, both on and off campus in a manner that
represents good value for money (or at a justifiable level of cost efficiency)
