EXSA has signed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement( PPA) with SPS, reinforcing its commitment to supporting sustainable energy solutions in South Africa.
Major project milestones achieved Phase 1 of the SlimSun Too project is in its final commissioning stage, following approval for grid connection by Eskom. RETEC testing is currently underway, and the plant is set to begin delivering renewable energy via EXSA, expanding access to clean power for South African businesses.
Building on this momentum, the project partners have committed to a second phase that will double the plant’ s capacity to 10MW. With financial close secured, construction is expected to begin in the coming months, further advancing South Africa’ s clean energy transition.
