Consideration to authors All of us who are in the fandom love our OTP madly, no caring of what happened at the end of the manga and any thoughts with which they tried to dissuade us. Nowadays we are fortunate to be one of the most active fandoms; we remain faithful and with lots of energy, not allowing anyone to stop or dis- courage us. Of course, it is necessary to recognize that all this is possible thanks to the support of those who are part of this great community. Someti- mes we think that, individually, we do not contribute that much, but the truth is that even the smallest of help counts. The trans- cendence of the fandom would not be possi- ble without the contributions of some people: mostly artists and writers, but also people who have decided to get involved in one way or another with no less than creative methods. The enthusiasm of the entire membership is a reason to be proud, yes. But unfortunately, sometimes we ignore the fact that there are people who can represent our fandom in an unpleasant way. The purpose of this article is to talk about exactly this: the considerations to the authors. Points that are important and that sometimes 6 we ignore. The term "Fanfiction", as it says on it self, is a non- profit fiction work made by and for fans, where we use characters, universes, or previously existing stories as a starting point for our own creations. There are other definitions, as well as genres and backgrounds, that many of us probably already know. The reason why we talk about the term is to deve- lop the following topic: sometimes we get upset because what we see or read is not identical to the original work, and we choose to be offensive or to take it very personally. But we must understand that the doujinshis, comics, drawings, or fanfics, usually come from the imagination of the author, only based on an original idea. It is true that we can make suggestions, but getting angry by it is pointless because it’s not our work, and the author is the one who decides the line to follow.
