But there comes a time when it’s time to move to that next dimension in forgiving. It's time to repent. Repent means to feel sorry, self-reproachful, or contrite for past conduct; regret or be conscience-stricken about a past action or attitude and to feel such sorrow for sin or fault as to be disposed to change one's life for the better; be penitent.

Translation, it's time to change. It’s time to purge ourselves of the thoughts, words and actions that triggers the thoughts or words that come forth. It's not until we cry out, "Lord, empty my heart of all the garbage, that I've allowed Satan to place there and fill me with Your love." Or, we may utter, "Create in me a clean heart. Close my mouth to the things that are not of You!!!" It is then and only then that our process begins. A process that will change the way we, think the way we feel and will change the way we speak and interact with those who have caused us to constantly seek forgiveness for the same thing over and over again.

As scripture states in Matthew 15:18-19, “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”
