Among the semester readings, students looked at excerpts from Wayne Koestenbaum’s Humilation as a way to investigate the cen- tral theme chosen by group consensus: Love and Suffering. Koestenbaum titles each chapter a fugue as a way to weave the melodies of his personal thoughts, experiences and explorations of humiliation together. This project brings 16 voices into one piece, showcasing ruminations on the novels and texts students have read in the last four months.
