RC: What do you believe could be some of the biggest
challenges the club may face in the coming years?
SG: Continuing to develop our own players is the biggest
challenge. Playing numbers at secondary age is down and
rugby numbers across the country are down. Continuing as a
community club that develops players is the plan for the club.
RC: What are the clubs ambitions for the next five years?
SG: For the first team to compete in the National Leagues,
for the second XV to continue and develop its partnership with
Montrose RFC, for the junior sections to have stable teams at
all levels and for the clubhouse and grounds to be further
developed as a community hub.
