Stourbridge improvement programme we committed to 18 months ago is proving to be very successful and we are pleased with the response from the membership .”
This Season
“ The season has revealed the strengths of the teams in our league and it has been a case of assessing what we need to do in the second half of the season to finish with a chance of promotion .
The first team have performed well but have lost narrowly in a few away fixtures . This means that we have an opportunity to put that right in home fixtures and the squad has settled into being a much more potent attacking force in recent weeks . Our Lions team
is topping their league at level 7 and we would hope to see them in the same place at the end of the year . Our focus will be on winning and developing the squad so that we have the nucleus ready for the next campaign . If we
lose a few games in the early months the end of season will be a little flat but that is inevitable with league rugby .”
Youth

There is a need to further integrate the pathways for young players as they develop and this has much to do with the opportunities available through academies which is a bit awkward at the moment but many clubs and the RFU are working on how best to revise these arrangements . We are keen to play our part .”
Community
“ We are a club that engages fully with our local community and most of our players are from the surrounding area ,
