ylesbury RFC has been
enjoying a strong season
this time around, with
impressive performances on the field
being supported by a superb set up off it.
We recently caught up with Head Coach
Dave Larham to find out more about
what has been behind their success.
Involvement
He told us, “I was previously Head
Coach at the club from 2001 – 2006 and
returned in 2012 as Head Coach. I was
attracted back to the club by its ambitions
to create the best facility it could for its
members and its drive to grow rugby for
all ages. Now in my ninth season as Head
Coach, the magenta and black courses
through my veins and I live and
breathe the club.”
The Role
“The most rewarding
aspect of my role is to
see so many players
coming through our
Junior Section in to
Senior Rugby. This
means that we have
created a connection
from Youth to Senior
with young people that
understand the club
ethos and values.
The most challenging
aspect of my role is the lack of
