In 2004 we reached the last 16 of the Swalec National Cup losing to Caerphilly, who in the previous season had played Castres in the European Challenge Cup final! In 2006 we qualified to play in Division 2 West National, but that opportunity was denied us by a WRU policy which barred all North Wales teams from playing in any National League beneath the Premiership. The club has no debts and has a long term lease on the pitches which we are hoping to buy in the near future. The new clubhouse was opened in 1999 and Senior WRU club status soon followed. When South Wales clubs came to play us, some of them with a 100 year history, many of them confessed to envying our set up, which has included match quality floodlights since 2006.
