Ruby, Scarlett
and Loopy Lou
are the business!
Ferrets Ruby and Scarlett came to the
Centre as part of an unexpected litter.
Their sister found her forever home quite
quickly with a male ferret whereas Ruby
and Scarlett weren’t so lucky.
Ruby and Scarlett had been at the Centre
for quite some time when another female
ferret, Loupy Lou, came in as a stray. Loupy
Lou first needed to be neutered before she
could mix with other ferrets. Once she had
recovered from this, the three girls formed
a lovely little trio (a group of ferrets is
called a business).
Still no one came forward to adopt this
adorable trio. They were happy together,

always found snuggled up sleeping or playing
together with their toys. Even though ferrets
sleep for up to 18 hours a day they were a
busy little group of girls.
Then one day their luck changed. A young
couple came to the Centre and instantly fell
in love with them. Ruby, Scarlett and Loopy
Lou had won them over with their cuddly,
playful and cheeky natures.
After being awarded the unfortunate prize of
longest stay animals at the Centre, they were
reserved and found themselves going off
happily to their new home where they will
be thoroughly spoilt and cared for.
