"She read books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live." -Annie Dillard

Read This…by Tracy Adams

It's quite easy to love a book. The thick spine and crisp, printed pages of a book becomes a lifelong friend. Whether a book is printed or an E-format it is worthy of praise.

As both a reviewer and a writer I am constantly being asked by fellow readers which books should be read next. Another great detail about books is that there is something for everyone! Personally, I love to curl up with a good romance novel. The genre is my favorite and I look forward to the first kiss between the hero and the heroine.

There is something magical about a good book. It can lift us when we are feeling down or it can be the driving force in our own determination to accomplish a goal. Whatever the reason, books have been intriguing readers for centuries!

To introduce my column I thought it would be fun to highlight a small number of novels that you might want to consider adding to your reading list. When I narrowed down the list, (that sounds much easier than it really was) I kept in mind that each reader is different. Some of us will reach for a classic, others want something a bit more modern.

I think whatever your choices may be this reading list has something that is sure to please. So let’s grab a book from the list and a hot drink and curl up in our favorite reading spot. Mine happens to be the couch or my bed which I am all too happy to share with my dog Max as I am slip into the unknown of a novel.
