Tasty!

Restaurant Review

Sirloin was perfectly cooked and was accompanied with Pomme frits and seasonal vegetables. The Scaloppini Con Pollo, which was said to be delicious, was made up of a chargrilled free range chicken breast served with garlic and fresh lemon. The Grilled Springbok Loin, cooked to perfection, served rare to medium rare with seasonal vegetables and baby potatoes, was another of the Cape Point Vineyards' dishes that is so good it makes you want to return for a second helping.

Desserts were made up of Caramelised Oranges with Basil Mascarpone, Iced Berries with Hot White Chocolate Sauce and Vanilla Ice-cream with Espresso and Lavender Panna Cotta. For those of you who don’t feel like cooking on a Thursday night, pop in at Cape Point Vineyards and enjoy their burger night.

Hours after our arrival, we left the warm confines of ‘the restaurant on the hill’ and on our respective journeys home, I’m sure we all contemplated when we would again grace the scenic surrounds found at Cape Point Vineyards.

Booking is essential for the restaurant and can be done via telephone on +27 21 789 0900 or via email on [email protected].
