On 8th October the Rotary Club of Northlakes Toukley will be joining

THE WORLDS GREATEST MEAL.
The idea is so simple. Our Club can arrange an event any time. By joining together in this world-wide event
many have greatly enjoyed international fellowship via Facebook….all monies collected go straight to The
Rotary Foundation/End Polio Now account with full credit going to our Club.
This funding initiative is the Joint Project of the Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise, D.9550, Australia and the
Rotary Club of Hounslow, D.1140, England.
PDG Mukesh Malhotra and PP Susanne Rea set up this idea to help end polio around food, fun and fundraising.
As of August 5th 2014 there have been 452 events registered in 41 countries with more than 20,000
participants worldwide
So far USD $266,668.10 has been raised (a total of USD $800,004.30 with matching funds from the Bill and
Melinda Gates Foundation) This translates to enough funds to buy more than 1,000,000 polio vaccinations!!
Thanks to Past President Justin Dover who has made the Vietnam Vets Hostel available for our event. So put
