At our meeting on 24th July Elissa Scott told us of the charity she founded to assist the rapidly growing numbers of homeless people on the Central Coast. It has a community focus and is the heart beat of the local region. Homelessness is dramatically increasing on the Central Coast. In the past year, there has been a staggering 110% rise in the number of people becoming homeless on our streets; making the Central Coast the worst region in NSW for homelessness.
