We Recognise Our Hunter Valley Friends
For the last several year RCNT have enjoyed a midyear break taking advantage of the many wonderful wineries the Hunter Valley has to offer, when and you

rounds off the day with a chocolate making demonstration. I believe everyone who attending always want to go back to Hunter Barn the next year for lunch. Thanks Jane and Paul for making the day so special. Our friends at Tamburlaine also make us feel very special, with our visit normally organised by Jan Williams who organises each tasting to suit our members requirements, more whites, reds, stickies whatever you want is never a problem. Tamburlaine is one of our favourite stops on the day and given the success and quantity of wine purchased by members Tamburlaine donate $50 back to RCNT for every dozen bottles of

year" - simple answer, with the amount of wine purchased we can only afford to go annually. This year following our trip in April we decided to present Paul and Jane at the Hunter Barn and the gang at Tamburlaine with a Certificate of Appreciation for the wonderful way we are looked after by these two organisations. Hunter Barn is our normal lunch and chocolate fix destination where host Paul gives us "the right royal treatment" these guys are from the UK, turning a simple steak, sausage and salad meal into ninety minutes of fun which includes generous donations of wine, chocolates and other assorted gifts towards our fundraising raffle. Head chef Jane looks after the vegetarians with one of her special quiches and

wine purchased. This money along with any profits from the raffle is held and used to help fund next year's Hunter Valley experience. Mark Sunday 6th April 2014 in your diary, the coach we hire takes 48 so let's fill as many seats next year. Thanks to Karen and Greg we now have Ivanhoe Winery, a new addition to our list this year and I am sure we will include in 2014. Maurie Schokman
