29 autiful city and very good of Rotary to show it to us. We traveled to Pozega, afterwards. Once we arrived, we were welcomed by the Rotary club of Pozega. We went on a tour of the city, and even received special access to tour the monastery’s archives. We were all so amazed by this, as the books were around 400 years old and were still readable! All the history was so amazing to see! We toured the main square and got to visit the church as well. We had an amazing dinner, thanks to Rotary again! On Sunday, we walked up the hill to a vineyard. It was beautiful, and we were welcomed by the family and a huge barbecue! The experience was so much fun and the family was super friendly, all eager to get to meet us and show us their vineyard! All in all, our trip to Slavonija was awesome! We all had so much fun seeing the history and meeting new people and sharing our experiences with them and hearing about theirs. I cannot thank Rotary enough for putting together that experience for us and showing us more about Croatia! I hope they can continue to do this in the future for other inbound students, as it is greatly appreciated and we had a lot of fun! Thank you again!
