• Do you prefer this more positive approach to music, like on this album, or darker like on 7 Sinners?
I do prefer a positive approach always but, you know, Seven Sinners for me is not so negative. You know the picture we had on there is fun, tongue on cheek, like an imagine maybe some mothers or parents wouldn’ t allow their kids to have that record just because of band folders but it’ s not been meant serious at all. And that album The seven sinners I think it’ s not very different, it’ s a darker approach and heavier and harder and meant to be by that time even though I think it doesn’ t give or take that much. I am pretty happy with almost all the records we have done with this line up. And this is just another one. But well it is more positive vibe there, the better for me, that’ s true.
• As I know you are big fan of Deep Purple, which you show us on this album, so what you think about Jon Lord’ s legacy?
Well Jon Lord I think was musical genius and you must always think what they were doing back then in the early 60’. They were trying to make a band and they were trying to optimize musical concept and everything. If you look at the history of Deep Purple what went down and how long it took to elaborate that personal and typical sound. And you know these people were really adventurers and they were explorers and pioneers in that field of music. Because I mean you would certainly be considered a mad man
