It seems that the trend so far in this disc
are strong entries ranging down to a
calmer tone, as in Fly To Crystal Skies we
find that structure, although the rhythmic
duo formed by Alex and Oliver are able to
maintain the energy. Guitar and keyboard
accompaniment adorn excellently a
song so melodious that has a touch of
melancholy. Roberto returns to give us
another sensational and brief solo, before
finishing with Fabio framed by the choir in
a small emotional climax.
Gently the familiar sound of a flute leads
us to our next song My Sacrifice, acoustic
instruments and vocals create another
moment of melancholy that is gaining
more momentum with the participation of
the rest of the group. These feelings the
composer expresses are emphasized by the
dialogue between the keyboard and guitar.
Verses sung in Italian end up making this
song one of the most shocking of the disk.
Silver Lake of Tears breaks the pattern
that we had so far, with more momentum
and energy brings joy giving us some
rest. We find one of the best solos of
De Micheli, which brings to our minds
perhaps a little of the old Rhapsody
of Fire. The ending is emotional and
passionate. It is definitely the best track
on this album.
And I could not miss the usual ballad in
Italian, the sad and yet beautiful sound
