The union of the former members of Sabaton Daniel Myhr, Oskar Montelius, Daniel Mullback, Rikard Sundén with Stefan Pizza Eriksson and one of the most complete singers in the metal world: Nils Patrik Johansson( Astral Doors, Lion’ s Share, Wuthering Heights), make a perfect combination that we can clearly appreciate with the result of their music.
No doubts, the band name“ Civil War” joined to the title that they have given to their first full length album“ The Killer Angels”, remind us of the historical novel written by Michael Shaara, about the Battle of Gettysburg during the USA civil War.
This album was released on June 11, 2013, after an EP and a series of singles that were released in 2012 by Despotz Records.
Personally, an album that I was looking forward to, because I’ ve always been a fan of Nils and what I’ ve listened, has left me fully satisfied.
