The union of the former members of Sabaton Daniel Myhr , Oskar Montelius , Daniel Mullback , Rikard Sundén with Stefan Pizza Eriksson and one of the most complete singers in the metal world : Nils Patrik Johansson ( Astral Doors , Lion ’ s Share , Wuthering Heights ), make a perfect combination that we can clearly appreciate with the result of their music .
No doubts , the band name “ Civil War ” joined to the title that they have given to their first full length album “ The Killer Angels ”, remind us of the historical novel written by Michael Shaara , about the Battle of Gettysburg during the USA civil War .
This album was released on June 11 , 2013 , after an EP and a series of singles that were released in 2012 by Despotz Records .
Personally , an album that I was looking forward to , because I ’ ve always been a fan of Nils and what I ’ ve listened , has left me fully satisfied .
