Are The Roblox Forums stuck in the past?

To begin with, I want to clarify I am talking about the forum software itself and not the community. In the past few years the increased popularity and development of forum software' has lead to a much higher standard of message board for the public to use. There was a time when any custom built forum software simply wasn't that good because a single coder or a very small team will always lag behind the industry giants but these days with XenForo, IPB, MyBB, PhpBB and vBulletin been so advanced, even the custom software is good.

But then you go to ROBLOX forums.

No BBCode, no ability to actually add a signature in every post automatically without a browser extension, no way to share forum posts to social networks, inability to link to twitter profile on your forum profile, no forum smilies, can't even edit posts or quote people, even the search system can't run efficiently.

The ROBLOX forums are long overdue a big software update. Maybe ROBLOX should consider integrating a paid forum software that's pre-built such as XenForo or at least make major changes to the source code.

To conclude, unless ROBLOX is happy to have one major part of its website fall way behind the rest it needs a large update to bring it up to the standard of rivals such as Gaia Online.
