FTL freight transportation is the best for large shipments as compared to LTL
freight transportation. It is the correct choice to go for when your shipments
need to fill the whole trailer space. It is in a position of holding shipments
that exceed 15,000 pounds or those that exceed ten pallets whereas the
LTL cannot exceed that.
FTL freight transportation is observed to be fast when compared with the LTL
freight transportation. This is because no unloading and reloading of the
shipments take place on the way as compared to the LTL transportation
which makes a number of stops on the way. This explains the reason why
the transport time for the LTL is observed to be longer. As a result, FTL freight
transportation is said reliable and economical. However, LTL can also be
observed to be cheap as it charges low costs.
