Headmaster ’ s Message Selborne Sprints 2024
The Annual Buffalo Selborne Regatta is a greatly anticipated rowing event each year . We look forward to welcoming the participating schools , coaches and supporters to the Buffalo River and trust that you will enjoy a fiercely contested event but at the same time enjoy the camaraderie of the coaching staff , players and supporters alike . The exceptional talent and skill will again be showcased and I hope that each event will take place with a sense of sportsman spirit .
We extend our sincere gratitude to the sponsors of this tournament . Further gratitude is extended to the Regatta organizers , parents , coaches and oarsmen who will be at the
regatta . Your support is appreciated and we know that the oarsmen enjoy your support .
Sport has a unique ability to develop a young person in terms of self-esteem and building confidence . We can only hope that the participants from their respective schools enjoy their time with us and that they can walk away with wonderful memories .
To all the officials and the organizing committee from ELBA who will make this a special event , we thank you . I am sure everyone is focused and ready for the anticipated weekend events .
