It has become the norm in world football to loan out some of the younger players in your team in order for them to gain first-team experiences and, hopefully, be able to come back and fight harder for a starting spot at the club. Two of the players loaned out by Real Madrid during this summer were Carlos Casemiro (FC Porto) and Denis Cheryshev (Sevilla). Both players have shown great potential during their playing times so far as they now go to try their luck abroad before coming back next season.
Carlos Casemiro has been loaned to Porto in Portugal as he attempts to prove to Real Madrid, and himself, that he is good enough to play in one of the top clubs in Europe. Of course, the task isn’t easy and will require a lot of hard work but the Brazilian has proven that he is up to the challenge. After he was purchased by Jose Mourinho after some time at Real Madrid Castilla, he was able to play a few minutes over the past couple seasons with the club. With about 700 minutes, he has shown that his play is slightly rough (which is necessary for a defensive midfielder) and simple. He isn’t the type to try any flashy moves or make any seemingly impossible passes, but rather likes to keep the play quick and simple without putting himself at any major risk of making a costly mistake.
Now, he joins Porto and has had a good start as he scored on his debut. Casemiro will surely have Real Madrid at the back of his mind as he focuses on his goal to come back stronger and more prepared than he was before he left. Real Madrid letting him go on loan to Porto is a great idea as they are a European club who will
also be competing in the UEFA
Champions League and therefore he
will be able to gain some extremely
valuable experience when his loan
period is over. With a Champions
League medal already in his record,
it will simply serve as more
motivation for him in the coming
seasons to be an important part of
the squad to win it once again.
