atmosphere of one of London’ s most exclusive thoroughfares.
And the other crucial aspect of the St James’ s Motoring Spectacle is that it’ s completely free to attend. It has to be one of the best days out in the capital for any car-crazy kids( and parents, of course). Especially as Pall Mall is a very short walk from both the bustle of Regent Street and the natural beauty of St James’ s Park. The Spectacle combined with other great things to see and do nearby make it a winner!
The event was held first in 2024 when it was judged to be a great success. But last year attendance swelled to 12,000 people to exceed all expectations. This really put the Spectacle on the map.“ Now entering its third year, the St James’ s
Motoring Spectacle has quickly established itself as one of London’ s most distinctive motoring events, bringing together extraordinary vehicles, remarkable stories and enthusiasts of all ages in the heart of the capital,” said Duncan Wiltshire, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club.
“ Whether your passion is for veteran cars, Formula 1, supercars or the technologies shaping the future of mobility, there will be something to inspire every visitor. We are delighted to welcome everyone to Pall Mall for what promises to be our biggest and most exciting Spectacle yet.”
Dominating proceedings in terms of sheer scale is certainly the St James’ s Concours; a large and varied contingent of the veteran cars primed for the Brighton Run the following morning assemble to surprise and delight the public( and fellow owners).
En masse- the largest Veteran Car Concours in the world. You can expect to see almost 100 pre-1905 cars arrayed, and the atmosphere around these priceless artefacts, some of them built when Queen Victoria was still on the throne, is anything but standoffish.
