AS THE FAME OF THE STONE SPREAD, IT EVENTUALLY REACHED THE EARS OF THE GRAND VIZIER AND EVEN TO SULTAN MEHMET IV. BY THE ORDER OF THE SULTAN, BOTH PARTIES WERE BROUGHT TO THE PALACE AND PAID THEIR DUE, TAKING THE STONE IN EXCHANGE. SULTAN MEHMED IV The story goes on, as the Spoonmaker took the gem to a jewelry store and tried to find out what it really was. The jeweler paid 10 coins to the spoonmaker and bought the diamond. In order to appraise it, he showed it to another one of his jeweler friends. They both concluded that the gem was very valuable. His friend asked for hush money, and of course, and a fight ensued. The Royal Jeweler soon heard about it and wanted to settle the dispute by buying the diamond, paying both jewelers a sack of gold. As the fame of the stone spread, it eventually reached the ears of the Grand Vizier and even to Sultan Mehmet IV. By the order of the sultan, both parties were brought to the palace and paid their due, taking the stone in exchange. After shaving and shining the stone, the incredible brilliance of the diamond finally surfaced. Kaşıkçı, bir kuyumcu dükkanına girer ve taşın ne olduğunu öğrenmeye çalışır.
