aving witnessed the the growth of Rixos Hotels Group
from the very beginning, Muhammed Emin Kabbani
is now the Cluster General Manager of Rixos Thermal
Eskişehir and Rixos Konya. These two hotels may be
the most diverse and unique hotels within the group, thanks to
the amenities they offer to their clientele. We recently talked with
Mr. Kabbani about Rixos’ continuously developing vision and the
differences between these two unique Rixos hotel locations.
Mr. Emin, you have been under the Rixos Hotels roof for nearly
fourteen years now. Can you tell us about your adventure with
Rixos in these years?
Even though fourteen years seems like a very long time, I
feel like I’ve just started working with Rixos Hotels. Everyday
I continue to feel the excitement and happiness of all our groups’
accomplishments, ground breaking records and our corporate
vision. It’s been an honor to watch Rixos Hotels become the pride
of Turkey and a pioneer in the tourism sector. I started my career
as the Assistant General Manager at Rixos Hotel Labada, then
worked at Rixos Beldibi Turkey, Rixos Ashkhabad Turkmenistan,
and Rixos Konya Turkey. Currently, I work as the Cluster General
Manager at Rixos Thermal Eskişehir, Turkey. Though Turkey has
traditionally been a strong figure in the tourism sector, we have
unfortunately faced greater challenges over the past couple years
due to national and international disputes as well as the global
economic crisis. In any case, we must prepare our hotel brand
for whatever the future may hold, whether they are or positive or
negative outcomes. Thanks to the mutual decisions made by our
board of directors, however, I am confident that our previsions,
action plans, hardworking staff and loyal client portfolio will help
us evade this difficult period within the tourism sector, all with

Merhaba Emin Bey, neredeyse on dört yıldır Rixos Hotels çatısı altındasınız. Bizlere Rixos ile geçen bu 14 yılı özetler misiniz?
14 yıl çok uzun gibi görünse de aslında Rixos otellerindeki
görevime daha dün yeni başlamış gibi hissediyorum. Türkiye’nin
iftihar ve gurur kaynağı, turizm sektörünün lideri Rixos Hotels’de
her geçen gün yakalanan yeni başarılar, rekorlar ve şirket vizyonumuz; yaşamakta olduğum heyecan ve mutluluğun da katlanarak
artmasına sebep olmaktadır. Rixos Hotel Labada’da Ass. General
Manager olarak başladığım kariyerime sırası ile Beldibi, Aşkabat
(Türkmenistan) ve Konya’da devam ettim. Şu anda Rixos Thermal
Eskişehir’de Cluster General Manager olarak görev yapıyorum.
Türkiye, turizm sektöründe uzun yıllar boyunca ciddi bir büyüme
trendi yakaladı. Ancak son bir kaç yıldır dünya çapında yaşanan
krizler ve bölgemizdeki üzücü olaylar, yurtiçi ve yurtdışındaki bu
olumlu havayı negatif anlamda etkiledi. Devamlı artan bir büyüme
potansiyeli beklemek de yanlış olurdu zaten. Ancak yönetim kadrolarımızın ortaklaşa aldığı kararlar, öngörülerimiz, aksiyon planlarımız, özverili personellerimiz ve sadık misafir potföyümüz neticesinde genel anlamda turizm sektöründeki bu z orlu dönemleri,
hedeflerimizden minimum sapmalarla atlatmayı başardık. Bunun
sonucunda yurt içi ve yurt dışı otel sayılarımız, hızla artmaya devam etti. Dünya çapında inşaatı devam eden yeni projelerimiz, bu
hırslı büyümenin gelecekte de devam edeceğini gösteriyor bizlere.
