The second act begins with pre-wedding feast. However, seeing
Nemorino hasn’t turned up, angry Adina postpones the wedding.
In the meantime, Nemorino drinks another bottle of love potion
and returns to the village. And to his surprise, all the girls start to
act friendly with him because they heard his uncle died and left
him a big inheritance. Unaware of the truth, Nemorine thinks the
elixir of love has finally taken effect! Adina arrives and sees him
flirting with the girls which makes her a little jealous. However,
Nemorino ignores her again leaving with his adoring entourage.
Adina realizes then, she has loved him all along and sheds a tear.
Nemorino comes back and remembers that little tear coming down
from the eye of Adina. He starts to sing one of the most famous

etkisini gösterdiğini zanneder. Adina bu sahneyi biraz kıskanarak
seyreder ancak Nemorino iksire güvenerek yine Adina’ya ilgi göstermeden ayrılır. O an Adina anlar ki bunca zamandır tek sevdiği
kişi Nemorino’dur ve gözünden bir damla yaş süzülür. Nemorino
geri döndüğünde yalnızdır ve birden Adina’nın gözünden süzülen
yaşı hatırlayarak bütün opera repertuarındaki aryaların en ünlü-
