It seems as though it is the end of trading for the retailer 'Forever 21' as the last of its stores close within the UK. Forever 21 has struggled to maintain business within the UK's market.
Forever 21 has already closed stores in Glasgow and Stratford, East London, and will shortly close its store at Lakeside shopping centre in Essex, which opened in 2011. All are expected to be taken over by the rival chain H&M. (The Telegraph). Seems asthough it's not forever 21!
The fashion retailer’s rapidly decreasing store estate flies in the face of its earlier ambitions, as former chief executive Larry Meyer said the retailer would have shops in “every major city, every mall and every high street” within five years of entering the UK market in 2010.
The latest full-year figures filed by the retailer at Companies House reported a pre-tax loss of £18.4m in 2014/15. (Retail Week)
