HOTEL PROPERTIES
In 2019, Inver Grove Heights and
South St. Paul boasted strong lodging
performances.
Inver Grove Heights has four hotels—
AmericInn, Holiday Inn Express, Microtel,
and Palace Inn, which opened in April,
2019. The enVision Hotel in South St.
Paul offers similar value in addition to
extensive meeting space. These hotels
draw leisure, social, group and business
travelers to the region.
When given a choice, what attracts
visitors to our region? Affordability is key,
along with free parking, complimentary
amenities such as breakfast, and convenient
freeway access.
DINING SPOTS
Another strength of our region is the
number of locally-owned restaurants. In
2020, South St. Paul welcomed Basil &
Sprout, serving southeast Asian cuisine,
to South St. Paul. Around that same time,
Inver Grove Heights welcomed Mallards,
a family-owned and operated restaurant
offering a chef crafted menu selection
with award winning seafood and Cajun
fare.
Of course, there are so many great dining
spots to consider such as B-52 Burgers
and Brew, Black Sheep Coffee Cafe,
Blvd. Bar & Grill, Cahill Diner, The Coop
Restaurant, Drkula’s, Hometown Meats,
iPho2, Inver Grove Brewing, Iwa Sushi,
Jersey’s Bar & Grill, Mallards, Mississippi
Pub, Old World Pizza, Overboard Bar &
Grill, Peterson Popcorn & Ice Cream,
Restaurant Rincon Mexicano, and much
more!

Both cities have utilized land near the
river for dog parks, too. South St. Paul’s
dog park is located at Kaposia Landing
in a large greenspace with trail connections
nearby. In Spring 2019, Inver Grove
Heights opened its new dog park at
Heritage Village Park off of Concord Blvd.
