Major Study Links Cancer & Cellphones
by DEFY Aging Digest Magazine
Yet another major safety study on cellphone use! Nobody wants to be someone who over
reacts or reacts prematurely, but these things matter. The temptation is to figure or
rationalize why this study, or that, is different from your own personal use situation, thus
alleviating the need to do something about it. Don't be tempted...look out for yourself, even
if its a hassle of one type or another!
This major study was undertaken by the U.S. Government on rats and found a definite link
between cellphones and cancer, an explosive finding in the twists and turns of this longrunning debate about whether cellphones cause health effects.
This wasn't just any study. It was multi-year, peer-reviewed study by the National Toxicology
Program, found “low incidences” of two types of tumors in male rats that were exposed to
the type of radio frequencies that are commonly emitted by cellphones. The tumors were
gliomas, which are in the glial cells of the brain, and schwannomas of the heart. So, even
though you may believe they have improved cellphone safety technology, they are still a
serious risk when you think how much cellphones are used the world over.
In other words, “Given the widespread global usage of mobile communications among users
of all ages, even a very small increase overall in the incidence of disease resulting from
exposure to radio-frequency radiation could have broad implications for public health,”
according to a report of partial findings from the study, which was just released. A
spokesperson for the National Institutes of Health, helped oversee the study but wasn’t
immediately available for comment.
Be sure and audit your own personal use habits thoroughly. A high standard here is critical
here, so act quickly and do take advantage of the very best in cellphone use protection
technology.
