How many years have you served bead enthusiasts as a resource for beading patterns? A. Our wonderful adventure with Bead-Patterns. com started 15 years ago in 1999 with Suzanne Cooper being the first Designer to support and join us soon followed by Sigrid Wynne-Evans, Elizabeth Ann Scarborough, Charley Hughes AKA Beadyboop, Lenni Cramer, Sandra D. Halpenny, Deborah Roberti, Judith Bertoglio Giffin, Carole Ohl, Diane Masters, Ruth Kiel, Jean Power, Chris Prussing, Deb Moffett-Hall, and so many more, visit the ‘Designers in the Spotlight’ pages to learn about them. http://www.bead-patterns.com/designerspotlight/ Many Designers have been with us for years, some have moved on to other adventures in life, and a few have passed on. We welcome new designers, details for joining us are available at: http://www.bead-patterns.com/Submitinfo.php Q. 3. Do you have a library of beading patterns available from more vintage eras? A. We do not have a separate library or category for designs by vintage era. Designs can be viewed chronologically; start with the largest page number (oldest listing 1999) and work toward page 1 (newest listings 2015). Q. 5. Have any of your personal beading patterns won awards? A. When our customers contact us because they have just completed a project or their State Fair entry won a ribbon, for example, they are so proud and excited it makes me feel like WE have all won an award! Entering our New Mexico State fair with my St Therese Tapestry was a thrill for me as I received a Blue Ribbon for her! It took 3 months of full time beading to complete the tapestry and a month to create the pattern. She is now hanging in my parents’ home. The St Therese Pattern is in my 3rd Book, This & That http://www.beadpatterns.com/shop/shop.php?method=itemnumb er&keywords=118. We have put together a Gallery of pictures from New Mexico State Fair Entries ranging from 2003 to 2010. Since then no picture taking of the Bead entries was allowed. http://www.sova-enterprises.com/gallery/NMfair03/beadfair.html Q. 4. Do you have patterns for old celebrity jewelry pieces so customers can create replicas? A. Not that I am aware of, but many of Deborah Roberti’s designs might just fit that need. http://www.bead-patterns.com/shop/sh
