As one would approach the northern exit of this arbor, as I visualized it and
walked it each day as work progressed, the majestic line of old trees could
be seen in the distance, merging with the backdrop of open skies. It was
beautiful. I enjoyed immensely constructing the project, and incorporating
new decorative ideas into my vision, including flowers, pathways and
inspirational messages. One such inspirational message that was to be placed
on the southern entrance of the arbor was the simple welcome sign: “Soul
Rising.” I wanted to tie all that I had been writing and formulating spiritually
inside with my physical labor and love of nature’s inspirations.
As time moved on my self-treatments seemed to be keeping my affliction at
bay, but, with some of my own dietary restrictions perhaps adding to the
situation, I was losing weight and energy and finally decided, after much
scrutinization and research, to go to Florida in August of 2013 and spend
several weeks at a healing clinic. My sweetheart Kristy accompanied me to
help get me started and we both learned of the sad news of the passing of my
wonderful and blessed father two weeks into my Florida stay.
As part of the healing process while in Florida it has been emphasized how
