How bad is it?

The current yearly sea level increase is about .6 inches, and it is climbing quickly. However, in the past 20 years, the average rise per year is .13 inches per year, which is twice as fast as it was for the previous 80 years (4). The rate of expansion appears to be rising exponentially.

A recent study claimed that the sea level is going to rise between 2.5 and 6.5 feet, ultimately destroying entire habitats and ecosystems (4).
