CH: These are the steps that work for me: Awareness of what is/ground – take some time to understand what really is happening vs. the fear that surrounds the problem.Yoga and meditation taught me to pause to respond instead of reacting. (still happens some but for sure not as much)Cry if needed – give yourself a minute to release the fear. Change the energy! Breathe – take a moment to reconnect with your breath and find your solid ground. This is the moment of stability that you build on. Listen – What is the choice? What are my options? Be present with what’s happening. Sometimes this all happens very fast and the key is awareness and grounding for me - then I can trust. JB: Raising children is today’s world is a challenging experience. You have the ability to change one thing in the world that would benefit people everywhere. What do you change? CH: Everyone learns and practices daily meditation! In Buddhism they teach what they call “right choice”. This philosophy teaches us to understand what is happening on the inside so that we can deal with it appropriately, rather than pushing it outward, blaming others or sending our junk into our relationships. True change and true transformation comes from the inside out. We live our life from the inside out. We live in our truth. JB: Who is your greatest role model, and if you were interviewing them right now, what would be your most pressing question? Oprah – Did you know what this path was going to bring for you and when do you feel was your biggest breakthrough personally in your life? JB: You have had great success and you know what it means to struggle. Based on your experience to this point in life, what is your definition of success? CH: Radiant Success is being yourself, doing what you love with those you love. It’s living your life from the inside out knowing you’re being guided by God or the universe to live the greatness in you and share it in all of your creations. When you connect with the radiance within and live it, you are living happiness. I believe that if people hide behind their excuses and their limiting beliefs this blocks their success and will impact everything. If you are living from “should’s” and not from the truth in your soul, you won’t have a breakthrough. If you are living only on strategies and not deeply connected to your soul, you will not have the fulfillment of true radiant success. You must have what I call Soul Meets Strategy for your deepest connections, biggest breakthroughs and greatest success in your life. Truly you cannot grow your business, relationships or anything if you don’t grow yourself too. JB: Are you a routine girl or a fly-by-the-seat-of-yourpants girl? What does a day in your life look like and how does it differ now from 10 years ago? CH: Routine for sure although I crave and thrive on adventure and fly by the seat of your pants sometime. I want to go to the airport and pick a flight and go. 10 years ago: 2 babies in cribs Sleeping Working out at the YMCA Walking with the double jogger stroller Drink a shake (loosing extra 10 lbs. from 2nd pregnancy) Going to bed early Luke working out of town mostly Now: 5:45am - up and get the girls ready for school 7am walk girls to bus Walk/home for yoga and meditation Social media Take care of dogs, cat, fish Start work with clients around 10ish Lunch Nap (at least 2-3 days week) Clients/film video blog/group coaching prep Girls home/homework/hangout Dinner Movie or game Bed by 9pm Of course fun things too but I’m an on the go gal and my life is about balance which I call synchronized movement - all is moving in a dance or rhythm that may change daily and with seasons as I shift in my life and business too.
