Zaheen played for the Supersport Academy U11 team this last year. He
also made the Sundowns Academy trials and has the option of playing for
them. He is currently trialling at Ajax Cape Town, and whilst it looks very
promising, as he has performed brilliantly, we are awaiting their report.
The Supersport U11 squad this year won the Superleague as well as
the Champions League Cup. Zaheen played as a central midfielder and
besides scoring many goals provided many assists; he distributes the ball
well and breaks up opposition play. Zaheen looks set to play in the SAFA
Academy league next year, he will compete in the U13 division.

Alex has been selected to represent the Rand Central Local Football
Association (RCLFA) at under 10 level. The team played against other
districts including Easterns, Southerns and Bosmont and won the
tournament. Alex has again been selected to represent the U10’s in the
SAFA tournament on 25 October.

Sacred Heart College’s Under 16 Boys Soccer team won the Johannesburg
Championship League grand final match in a highly competitive game
against Holy Family College on Friday 30 May.
The game was a tie (0-0) after normal play, which resulted in an extra 10
minutes each way. The teams could still not be separated, which resulted
in a penalty shoot-out. The game was decided on the final kick of the day
with Sacred Heart College winning 5-4. “Congratulations to all involved,”
