Yes, very, very important. My team is my family, friends, sponsors that believe in me and have supported me.

My horses are my team, you have to work as a team with your horses to be successful.

What are the plans for Kristy Nagel in 2014 and beyond?

To qualify for the world finals again in USA and travel to different countries to compete in their International Barrel Races and their world cups. For Pirate to become a famous Barrel Racing Sire in Australia and to have his name in the AQHA Hall of Fame.

When you first entered into Barrel Racing, Who was your role model and inspiration & how did their guidance influence you to succeed.

My inspiration when it came to starting out in Barrel Racing would have to of been my little sister Jessie Rowe. She always wanted to be a Champion Barrel Racer. She passed away at the age of 13 years old to cancer. So i took her dream to become a Champion Barrel Racer. When i was in China and USA i felt her guidance! She was there to give me strength and courage to ride the best i could.
