Secretary of Birmingham Championship Show, he had always supported the breed in the very early years. He said in his report “not only an eye catcher, but so sound and gay. He immediately made a great impression, not for one moment stopped showing” One month later Mr Grindey judged dogs at the Cavalier Club at the Seymore Hall in London, now if you wanted to see an exhibitor living on his nerves, that was John Evans on that day.
