Kindrum Cardinal Red and out of
Kindrum Lily Langtry, a Ch. Salador
Crismark daughter.

Ravenrush Darktown Strutter. It
was with Katie that we won the
National under Amice Pitt's daughter,
Jane Bowdler.
Barbara Spencer was good enough to
send us a lovely Caption daughter,
Sanubray Secret Promise of
Ravenrush. When it came time to
breed her, we went on type alone.
Darktown Strutter had been bred to
Redcoat and produced a nice black
and tan dog, Ravenrush Night
Prowler. Too long in the loin for the
shape we were heading for, he was
still nice enough that we wanted to
use him. We bred him to Secret
Promise and produced the most
scrumptious black and tan dog you
have ever seen - with four white feet,
stockings almost. In those days, with
few choices, we were not faint hearted
so I still wanted to carry this line
forward. Eventually, we were blessed
with Gemma, a ruby Charlock
daughter who carried a line of
Chandlers on the dam's side along
with a double up on Eng. Ch Caderyn
Black Tulip.
Ch. Ravenrush Polonaise,
the first homebred
champion
We started to gain an eye for what
we wanted and what kennels might
offer same, and began slowly
importing to add to our developing
line. Homerbrent, Kindrum and
Salador were the kennel names that
drew our attention, along with a line
of Chandlers in the whole colors. But,
to this day, one of the best was
CKCSC,USA Ch. Kindrum Redcoat of
So, Gemma (Llywynreos Sunset of
Ravenrush) was bred to Whitefoot
(Ravenrush Uptown Mister) and
produced our dear, oddly marked tri
color Jewel, CKCSC,USA and AKC
Ch. Ravenrush Crown Jewel. Of the
