Do you ever feel like you are just part of the crowd instead of “attention’s sweet center,” as Sara Bareilles puts it in the lyrics of a song called “She Used To Be Mine.”? You sort of go about the business of living from day to day, surviving whatever life brings you, and not really recognizing yourself. Still somewhere deep inside a part of you longs to be someone who commands center stage.

I know I have.

For me, remembering where I’ve been is not as important as looking at where I’m going. Yes, our past influences our future. It doesn’t have to define it, and you can change your mind about the direction you are headed and rewrite your story.

Now, I don’t have a magic formula to accomplish this task. What I do have (and you do too) are the skills, techniques, and materials to begin to create a life where I’m always the heart and center of everything.

What? How do I know you can do this for yourself?

No, I am not clairvoyant, a medium, or anything of that sort.

I am just me. I embrace the extraordinary gift of being me. I invite you to embrace the

remarkable gift of being YOU.

The secret to my confidence in creating your own happily ever after is in keeping a journal. I am fiercely committed to inspiration, synchronicity, and compassion. It is my belief that when you have on-going conversations on paper with yourself that you will be inspired by your own wisdom. To recognize that there are no coincidences and everything in life is connected in a meaningful way. And that you gain compassion for who you were and the person you are becoming.

Consider dedicating five to fifteen minutes every day to write about your life as the strong,

independent, creative, passionate, and articulate woman you are. Pretty soon, you will be taking center stage in your life as well as in your journal.

Happy Writing!
