Bipolar disorder is commonly believed to be a chronic, incurable mental illness that requires lifelong medical intervention and treatment. However, my personal journey to healing demonstrates this doesn’t need to be true. By employing an integrated, research-based treatment approach, as detailed in my book, you will discover that true healing and recovery are entirely achievable.

I struggled with bipolar symptoms for years, enduring a constant cycle of medications, countless psychiatrist visits, frequent hospitalizations, and even multiple suicide attempts. I felt trapped in a state of helplessness and despair. But when I finally found a path to healing, my outlook transformed. Driven by this newfound hope, I became dedicated to sharing my insights and championing a change in treatment methods to make healing and recovery attainable for others.
~What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?
I started a blog at www.myupsideofdown.com in January 2021, a podcast, The Upside of Bipolar, in early 2023 and wrote a book called The
Upside of Bipolar: Seven Steps to Heal Your Disorder,
coming October 15, 2024. I also have an online
monthly program called the Upsiders’ Tribe that
guides and supports people through the treatment
plan outlined in my book. I am also a passionate
public speaker, podcast guest and have an active
presence on social media to share the tools and
resources I have discovered.
~What are some tips you can give our readers to
help them step forward in their life powerfully?
