be to take a hard look at yourself and your inner circle and be willing to make little or major adjustments towards a better life. Surrounding yourself with the right people can dramatically impact the trajectory of your life. Third, would be to hire a coach, find mentors and allow others to help guide you towards whatever it is you're seeking. I used to think I was a great driver of my life and learned that with proper direction from those I wanted to be like, I could use my energy to take action under their experience and direction and get closer to who I really wanted to be.

~Describe something our readers can look forward to discovering in your book, Warrior in the Garden:

Struggle is the only thing that we as humans share in common regardless of race, economic standing or religion. If we can get to a place where we talk about our unseen struggles

like we do everything else our world will be a better place. Inside this book is a story of a boy who struggled with ADHD, Depression, suicidal ideation and just wanted to fit in, feel worthy and be seen. My story of struggle, addiction and despair will take you on my personal journey of absolute darkness to unbelievable triumph. You will cry, laugh and feel more connected and see that you are not alone. If I can do it, so can you or your loved one.

~Will you share a client success story?

My line of work is very personal and protected by HIPPA laws. All I can say is that there are many young men and women, families, communities thriving instead of grieving because of me sharing my story, my passions and willingness to be vulnerable and not keeping my fails a secret. I always say “Your secrets keep you sick.”

~ What tip or piece of advice can your share with our readers to empower them to SHINE?

Be brave, be willing to share. Most of the things you never want anyone to know are actually the things that have the most power to change the world!

 

 ~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers?

Miyamoto Musashi once said “A student asks his Master. “You teach me to fight, but you talk about peace. How do you reconcile the two?” The Master replied, “It is better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in a war.”

You are not your past. You are not your diagnosis. You can be whatever you put your mind to. Find your genius, follow your passion and at bare minimum you'll be happy. If you work at what you love you'll never work a day in your life!
