Matthew and Elora Collver had never started a new church from scratch before. They felt led by God to go to start a new church in a very challenging urban community. They had no idea where to begin. We were able to introduce them to key guiding principles and a real time community of peers who helped them find their way forward through the church start up process. The church they started (“The Hills Church”) is thriving and just celebrated their third anniversary as an established faith community.
~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
Whenever you meet someone new, the best way to introduce yourself is to ask THEM to tell you THEIR story. Practice active listening. Remember what you’ve heard. They’ll never forget you and you’ll always be invited back.
