~What tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life?
First, believe in yourself. I am a big fan of Napoleon Hill and his book, As a Man Thinketh. It is a classic business book about mindset that applies here. Attitude is everything. Get your attitude right, and the rest—including your book—will follow. If you believe you can, you can. If you believe you can’t, you can’t. Either way, you’re right.
“Success requires no explanations. Failure permits no alibis.”— Napoleon Hill
Second, be accountable. The reason I’ve written 45 books (and more are on the way!) is that I follow up and follow through. My books are not perfect. I am not perfect. I am instead a work in progress, willing to take a risk to be vulnerable to share what I’ve learned during this journey. Join me. We need you now more than ever. Have the courage to step up and take the first step. We’ll be here to support you. You’ve got this!
~What piece of advice can you today to empower us to SHINE?
Be willing to operationalize love in your business, in your community, and in your personal life. According to our foreword writer, Steve Farber—love is just dam good business! We all crave connection; we crave acceptance, we want to be loved. Treat others how you want to be treated. Show up powerfully. Be the magic and the energy in the world that connects those around you. Have the courage to share your light and your brilliance with the world. You may be amazed at who steps up to follow. *wink*
~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers?
For the first time, I became a TEDX Speaker, in October of 2020 on the Farmingdale 2020
stage. My topic is The Anatomy of Failure: Where Failure Lives in the Brain. I waited more than 10 years to see this dream come true. Perseverance and resiliency were key. Failure isn’t permanent. Failure isn’t the destination or the outcome. Failure is simply part of the process on the way to success. Keep showing up. Dare to dream. Keep going no matter what. Dreams do come true. We just have to dare to think dreams will come true for us. Miracles do happen. Believe in yourself. Know that your heart knows. Know that you know. You already have the answers you seek. You’ve got this! Go forth and do great things.
The world is waiting!
