effort to manage our thoughts. This is possible by learning to train our superhero.
~Will you share a few client success stories?
Yes. A mom reached out to me to coach her 16 year old son. He was unhappy and unmotivated. He refused to spend any time with his family. He would literally get home from school and stay in his room until dinner. After dinner, he would rush back to his room. He was failing many subjects. When I was coaching him, I identified that the
underlying issue was his overall confidence. He was shocked that I was not like a therapist. I did not focus on his problems. Instead, I helped him to see that had an unbelievable amount of potential. Once he started to believe that, everything changed. Now, he is happy and spends time with his family. He is also a straight A student and plays soccer for his varsity team at his school.
~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
It all starts in your mind. If you believe in yourself you can achieve any goal. If you do not then will not accomplish your goals. It is really just that simple.
~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers?
The secret to happiness is learning how to Train Your Superhero!
My ideal holiday this year was to stay in a B & B where they do decorating, baking, singing and so on like on the Hallmark Channel’s Christmas shows. Unfortunately, because of CoVid there will not be any celebrations like that. So, I will plan it for next year. Tony did not like the holidays
because he became stressed. Now that I am alone, I plan to make the most of it.
Once the new year comes, I will venture out and meet new people and pray things get better for us to gather in groups. My parents and I used to attend bingo weekly when they were alive. It is not the same any more without them. That is the best thing I’m planning to do once the pandemic is over.
What excites you the most during the holidays? Think about things you haven’t done in years and plan to do them this year. Maybe it’s baking cookies, or making gifts, or just sitting still and reading an
enjoyable
book. Whatever it is, I trust you will find the perfect thing to make your
holidays be the best ever.
