where some of the story takes place, but
because of the accuracy of a different
culture’s description. I literally felt like I had
known a Sudanese person just from reading
this book.

The ending left ready for the finale. I can't wait
to see how they handle the storm that's
brewing. If you love a good tale of thugs,
revenge, and secrets, then you are going to
love this story!!
I truly enjoyed the way the characters grew,
matured, and developed throughout the
story. I could always expect more and that
feeling was always delivered upon. The novel
ended with a possibility of a spin-off of Ayana
and Daniel’s love story. I recommend this
book to any and all adults who are looking for
a different love story, an amazing cultural
experience, and a matured author.
Tragedy, Lust and Destiny by

This was a thrilling escape into the land of
Africa that truly gave a taste of the three
elements mentioned in the title. While the
cover is both odd and interesting, the
symbolism behind the images and how it
relates to the story was a dead ringer.
Romantic, suspenseful, and sexually
described and written
Flipping through the pages of this book was
amazing. I found no errors while reading,
which made for an easy read. At no point in
this book did I have to flip back to
comprehend or make sure the facts or
statements lined up. This novel was well
constructed and refreshing amongst its
genre.
The formatting of designs and fonts flowed
beautifully to create a fluid story. Initially,
when I read the synopsis I felt, it read 'wordy'.
After reading the book in its entirety I
realized the necessity behind the wording
and the maturity level of the author and the
audience it was intended for.
Ayana and Dr. Daniel Bennett were the show
stealers. With a love so deep and real, it was
impossible not to be totally caught up in their
story. Their romance was forged under
peculiar circumstances, but it was not an
unrealistic. Sexually speaking, the scenes
were described as what you would expect the
perfect sexual experience to be like with the
person you love. Uninhibited, and free,
Daniel and Ayana make you taste the passion
through their sweaty and fulfilling pleasure.
This story was different not only because of

This was a spectacular next installment to
three-part series. The cover of the book was
befitting and it spoke volumes. The intro into
this second story can throw a reader all the
way off. I thought the character was going to
die but it just a teaser to keep me going. That
excited me to the extreme and made me to
jump in story.
The plot focused on the main character being
pregnant and the other characters tying up
loose ends from the first book. All of the
characters were reintroduced well. I loved how
the author made the new thug Keisha slightly
respectable and faithful. I despised the fact
she included Lucky in the equation, but he was
a main factor in the series.
The author kept the book full of mystery with
a hint of humor throughout. Everything one
assumed would happen doesn't occur. The
editing in this segment was very well. The
story flowed well so it was easy to follow.
This final book was jumping and good enough
to eat. It was the perfect ending to a great
storyline. The cover is the same throughout
but each rendition had a different pose for
each part, and it looked great. The editing was
perfect and the story flowed effortlessly. The
author kept it moving with no lapses. This
installment was a page turner.
All the characters were reintroduced so no
confusion there. Jeno was finally released and
boy did he let me down. It was some real life
situations going down in this installment. The
plot focused on Keisha and her dealing with
motherhood. The sub plot focused on Mega as
he sought revenge for an attempted murder
on his life. I loved how the author included the
bad thugs Keisha continued to choose and
transformed them. They were scum in the first
installment, but slightly heroic at the end.
The ending was fantastic. I was so happy. I
recommend you come take a ride with Keisha
as she subjects herself to a taste of some thug
life. If you love a good tale of revenge, murder,
sex, jokes, and happily ever after; then this is
the story for you.
