Iss 3/October 2016 Revues Galore without any dead areas making this a must read novel. If you love a good tale of sex, lies, deceit, and drama, then you will love this book. Someone For Me 3 by S. Raven Storm If These Walls Could Talk: A Secret Love Affair by T’Ann Marie & A. Ward The author’s imagination had to have been doing all kinds of backflips and cart wheels while penning this story. The title fits the book perfectly. The cover is symbolic of the story, but due to the adult content, it really serves the book no justice. Without a doubt, it will grab your attention because it's different, but after you read it, you’ll realize it could have been more inclusive. This was quite an interesting novel. This was my first read by this author and I must admit I enjoyed it. The title fits the book, covering the story and giving readers a hint of what the book is about. The cover is awesome. It held a mysterious side to it and definitely grabs the reader’s attention. The introduction of the book starts off letting the readers know why the book is titled as such. The story is very believable and about two married couples that are both sleeping around on each other. They created a meeting spot in the same hotel room where they always met up. The couples cheat during work hours then go home and act as if nothing happened. This is a normal part of life. I cannot relate to any of these characters because I couldn't find a valid reason for them to be cheating. The synopsis introduced the plot about a young man who has a hard time committing to anything, including relationships. But after he is introduced to some new things, he has to make the mental decision to become a man or remain a boy. Even with the predictability of the story, it still doesn’t decrease your desire to move forward. It’s an absolute page turner. The storyline is believable, even though the story had a sci-fi feel to it (the characters all possessed a power). That story inserts a bit of adventure and surreal events and you feel like you’re watching a movie because the words create powerful visuals. The characters were introduced very well and the story was easy to keep up with. I could not understand why Tahleel would not leave Memphis. I understand that she wanted her marriage to work, but the abuse was a big no-no. This story dripped drama and sex like a running faucet. The author dropped a bomb at the end that left me speechless. All of the characters were introduced impeccably. You had no lingering thoughts about who they were or where they came from. I can relate to all the women characters and how they gave all of the male characters a hard time because of their pasts. I call it tough love, and it was well deserved. Each character played their roles very well. And the sex scenes were I am for sure that there will be a sequel because the author could not consume all of this in one book. The author kept the b ook flowing from the beginning 2
