Andrue & Sy'Mone: An Urban
Love Affair by Olivia Shaw
Moment of Certanity by
Pamela Towns
The Heart Don’t Lie by
Yasheca Lasha
This was my first Olivia Shaw story and it will
not be my last.
This was definitely a great book. The editing
and grammar were perfect. There was not
an error in sight. The cover is nice and fits
the storyline. This book gives readers life.
You will not want to put it down.
If you're searching for a book with Drama,
Sex, Lies, and Cheating, this is the perfect
book to grasp and hold your attention!! This
story was the perfect example of how you
can't even trust your friends let alone your
husband these days.
This novel was an awesome read. The
grammar was on point with almost no errors,
and the storyline was Dope with a capital D.
Sy'Mone was like any modern female today,
trying to work and take care of her kids as
well as fall in love with Mr. Right. However,
Andrue may be Mr. Wrong after the secrets
come out!! I never would have figured out the
twisted turn that came out of left field with
this story! Very seldom do you find someone
who puts their trust in God and wants to do
the right thing in spite of drama to come.
The cover depicted one woman torn between
two men, the exact aura of this novel. The
story kept a steady flow and there was no
confusion or any raised questions as I read.
The introduction of the characters was great
but could’ve been stronger. Nevertheless, it
really was a great read and I honestly can't
wait to see what happens in part two as she
fights to get her children back. I just hope Raj
is who he portrays himself to be!
The plot of the story was a great and
befitting one. The book flowed effortlessly.
It did not seem rushed or anything. The
author gave you history lessons throughout
the book.
In the beginning, as the characters were
introduced, the author explained their roles
impeccably. The characters were not whom
we thought they would be. The author
pulled that secret off very well. The story
depicted a family going through the
struggle as every other family. The
characters did not see eye to eye, even
though they were close related but a string
of events brought them closer than ever
This was a remarkable story. The characters
developed faith and growth throughout the
whole story and they ended up with much
faith and determination. Even during their
downfalls, they did not give up. This story
will lift your spirits if you are down. I actually
envied the characters. I would recommend
this book to all my fellow readers. Fantastic
job.
Black was the definition of a street hustler
who couldn't stay faithful to his precious
Jewel. Little did he know, Jewel had some of
her own tricks up her own sleeve! Watch the
drama unfold with Coco, Kat, Tech,
LaShaun, Black, Jewels and a few others in
this urban drama!
The characters were well developed as were
their motives. I saw no problem with editing
and grammar. The cover art wasn't too
much but it could've depicted story more. It
does nothing to grab my attention.
One thing was for sure... The heart couldn't
fake what it didn't want. This story won't
leave the reader disappointed and you
won't believe the ending!! Yasheca Lasha
keep up the awesome work!! I highly
recommend this book to women's book
clubs and the working woman who can
twerk and work.
