5 better. I ' m patiently waiting on the second installment. Super job.
When I’ m Bad, I’ m Better by K. F. Johnson
This book is another page turner by this author. I was just recently introduced to her work and I ' m loving it. Her books run over with drama, lies, deceit, and pleasure.
There were no grammatical errors within this book. The cover of the book is very catchy. It gave a glimpse of what was coming inside the story. IMO, the title does not really fit the story, but it grabs your attention and makes you want to read the story.
The characters in this story are related. The author introduced them and lets you know what relation they are to each other. It was quite a few characters. Once you realized who were cousins and who were sisters, you were good to go. I think the relations of the characters took this book to another level and made this story fire.
I love how the author included people from previous novels into this current novel. The story flowed very well. It had you hanging on to every word, as if it was one of your favorite soap opera shows. I read the entire book in one setting. The ending left your mouth wide open and your mind thinking about how long before part two drops.
This book really pushed the saying " keep your friends close and your enemies closer ". These characters were stabbing each other in the back like it wasn ' t anything. Some of their behaviors I couldn ' t connect with; however, it ' s what kept me turning the pages. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a drama filled story. It was very good and can only get
Behind Closed Doors by K. F. Johnson
This book was an excellent read. I am a hard reader to please but K. F. Johnson has pleased me with every book that I have read by her. The characters were well written and very believable. I was able to relate to the characters as soon as I was introduced to them. I loved that she didn’ t have a million characters but just a few that had huge personalities that made it seem like it was a lot of people. Just like most books, there is always that one character that you really can’ t stand yet you can’ t help but to wonder what’ s going to happen next. In Behind Closed Doors, Brion was that character for me. I am far from a fan of his but I can’ t wait to see what happens next in his story.
From the beginning, the book had me intrigued with the suspense and all of the twists and turns that were thrown at me. This book had everything in it that makes up a great novel. There was love, abuse, family secrets, lies and my favorite one: KARMA!! I definitely recommend this book to readers that are tired of regular urban street books and want to try something new and exciting.
Liar’ s Ball by K. F. Johnson
This novel was quite interesting. Author continued the storyline full of sex, lies, drama, and attempted murder. It most definitely was a page turner from the beginning.
The cover really does not do the book any justice. It does not relate to anything in the book. It does not give you a hint about the goodies waiting inside.
On the other hand, this book was so juicy that I really don ' t know what could have been on the cover to depict contents inside.
The story ' s plot was unbelievable. It covered a family with so many secrets that would put the devil to shame. The story flowed perfectly. It was very easy to read and not get confused. Trust me, you had to keep up. Not only were the characters full of secrets, their close friends were too!
The overall editing of the story was perfect. There weren ' t any errors and that ' s a feat for a story with so many characters. My favorite character in this book was a trip. He was a player and never thought he would turn his card in. However, the author made a believer out of him. Old habits die hard though, so you know what happened with that. He lived and learned throughout the whole story. The author ended the story with a bang. My mouth dropped to the floor.
This book was fantastic. I would recommend it to all readers. Great job.
